The Wordle anecdote — a tale about guesses!

So Sunday morning started with Josh Wardle’s gift to the world — a productive new habit — Wordle

And today, when I got it right on the 4th try — it drew me to reflect on how well this game goes hand-in-hand with our everyday lives.

We’re wired to obsess about “getting things right” and “getting things right the first time” and we would often beat ourselves up in case that doesn’t happen.

Be it solving for challenges at work, or solving for life itself — this game has brought about a vivid analogy:

📌 We may not always get it right the first time, or the second time, or so on.

📌 What matters is we’re moving, we’re progressing — a progress that’s coupled with a genuine intent and conscious efforts to solve, to learn and to evolve.

📌 Cues and directions, then, will automatically enlighten our path — and then it’s about connecting the dots.

📌 And while it’s great to get it right the first time, it’s also equally great to continue to learn and progress — that’s life after all, a journey!

Josh gave us 6 tries to crack the word.
Life gives us a lot more!

What am taking away from this game — uncertainty can be fun too. Riddles exist everywhere, it’s important to play-along!

It’s important we keep going — one day at a time, each challenge in a stride.
